Foundation for Edmonds School District awarded $15,000 in grants
The Foundation for Edmonds School District has been awarded grants totaling $15,000 from the Hazel Miller Foundation to support two essential programs addressing disparities in education and basic needs for students and families in the Edmonds School District. Of the total grant, $10,000 will enhance the On-the-Job Training Program, and $5,000 will provide essential funding to the Nourishing Network.
Foundation programs are designed to help eliminate barriers to education, particularly for students from marginalized communities, including those who identify as BIPOC or live in poverty. Click here to read the article on Lynnwood Times.
