GESA Affinity Program

The Foundation for Edmonds School District and Gesa Credit Union share a long-standing partnership that spans more than 42 years. This relationship began through board service, with Gesa’s legacy institutions, Pemco/School Employees Credit Union (SECU), later Inspirus, and now Gesa, serving as founding board members for the Foundation. For over four decades, representatives from these organizations have played an active role on the Foundation’s Board of Directors.

Today, the Foundation is proud to continue this partnership. Gesa’s Affinity Partnerships support over 30 community organizations and they have awarded $1 million to schools.

The Edmonds School District suite of affinity debit cards earns the Foundation for Edmonds School District and the corresponding High School money each time a cardholder swipes their co-branded Gesa Visa® Debit Card.

Lynnwood High School Credit Union Branch

Through Gesa's High School Credit Union Program, Lynnwood High School operates its very own credit union branch on campus!

Each year, one paid student intern is selected as Branch Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch. With the support of teachers, Gesa's Education Team, and the Campus Branch Manager, students learn financial literacy and receive hands on experience.
