During the month of November, Edmonds School District Employees can participate in the employee giving program by opting in to a monthly or one time donation for the following organizations:
The Foundation for Edmonds School District, Teachers of Color Foundation, or Yes! For ESD Kids. Read on to learn more about each organization and donate today!
The Foundation for Edmonds School District
At the Foundation, we care for our children and our District. An essential partner for the Edmonds School District, we help provide education to children, fill in all-important gaps, and connect families and individuals to much needed resources.
We develop connections with community partners and build bridges to sustainable funding so that every child has equal access to opportunities to reach their potential and fulfill their dreams.
The Foundation funds essential programs that support our students, families, and educators, including:
- Classroom and Schoolwide Grants,
- Stipends,
- Scholarships for post secondary education, and
- Nourishing Network serves hungry and homeless students and families.

Teachers of Color Foundation
As an award winning 501(c)(3), Teachers of Color Foundation (TOC) strives to bring a culture of diversity to the teaching faculty of the Edmonds School District by recruiting, educating, and retaining teachers to meet the needs of our student population.
As an ESD employee, you are eligible to select TOC for your Employee Giving Program selection this coming November. Your gift would help provide:
- Full scholarships
- Support services and mentoring
- Race & equity training
- Emergency funding access
- Professional development
- Student teaching stipends

Yes! For ESD Kids
Yes! For ESD Kids: Yes! for ESD Kids is the parent and community-led volunteer group that advocates on behalf of school elections. This is a huge year for levies and bonds! On February 13th a special election will be held featuring two ballot measures: Proposition 1 – Capital Projects Bond, and Proposition 2 - Replacement Technology Levy.
At Yes! for ESD Kids, their work is to help ensure passage of educational program replacement levies and school facility construction bonds. Your support and monthly contribution help fund their efforts. They’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal for this year’s campaign. They’re already nearly half-way there, and they need your help! Please consider supporting Yes! for ESD Kids by making a financial contribution that is personally meaningful to you.
