Workplace Giving

The Edmonds School District kicks off their Workplace Giving Campaign, which runs through Friday, November 20. This year, the district is focusing on two important charitable community partners — United Way of Snohomish County and the Foundation for Edmonds School District.

LIVE UNITEDThe mission of United Way of Snohomish County is to lead positive change that transforms our community and improves people’s lives in Snohomish County. Community leaders and volunteers spend thousands of hours researching our county’s needs and then target investments to make the greatest difference for people who need it most. This makes your gift to United Way an efficient and effective means to impact our community in meaningful and measurable ways.

The Foundation for Edmonds School District has been our trusted and valued partner for more than 30 years, supporting programs like after-school study tables, classroom grants, college in the high school tuition assistance, and weekend meals for homeless students in need. Thanks to the generous support by our community of the foundation, more than $319,000 was invested into vital student and teacher programs last year.

To donate to one of these important organizations, follow the steps below:

  1. Complete the first two sections of the United Way Pledge Form.
  2. Sign the form.
  3. On the bottom of the form, there is an optional section where you may specify a nonprofit. If you choose to direct your donation to the Foundation for Edmonds School District, you may write it in here, or you may complete the attached Foundation’s Payroll Deduction Form.
  4. Send one of the completed forms interoffice to Deb Anderson, Foundation for Edmonds School District.

By making a workplace gift the Foundation, Inspirus Credit Union (formerly School Employees Credit Union) will make a $25 contribution to the Foundation, stretching your gift even further! See the promotional flier for complete details.
